Strawberry, Basil and Balsamic Sundae

Ingredients:

– 2-3 scoops Real California strawberry ice cream – Aged balsamic vinegar reduction* – Deep-fried or thinly sliced fresh basil leaves

Directions:

Put 2-3 scoops of ice cream in bowl, drizzle with balsamic reduction and garnish with basil leaves.

Note: To make balsamic reduction, take 1 cup aged balsamic vinegar and reduce over medium to low heat for approximately 10 minutes until it thickens. It is ready if it coats the back of a spoon. Watch carefully to avoid scorching. Cool completely before use. Use caution when frying basil as moisture causes to splatter.
