Creamy Cabbage Slaw with Buttermilk Dressing

Ingredients:

Creamy Cabbage Slaw: – 1 head cabbage, shredded – 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced – 1 bunch cilantro leaves, chopped – 4 Fresno chiles, stemmed, seeded and sliced – 1 tablespoon salt – 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper – 1 cup California San Joaquin Gold cheese, grated Toasted Cumin Buttermilk Ranch Dressing: – 1 cup California buttermilk – 1/2 cup mayonnaise – 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro – 1 tablespoon chopped chives – 1 tablespoon chopped parsley – 1 1/2 teaspoons salt – 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper – 1 teaspoon lemon juice – 1 teaspoon toasted cumin – 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except cheese and dress with toasted cumin buttermilk ranch dressing. Let sit 2 hours; add cheese.

Whisk together all ingredients. Serve with grilled skirt steak and heirloom potatoes roasted in bacon fat and sliced.
